The tennis club has five grass courts, one hard court and one croquet lawn which are in play from April to October (depending on the weather). New tennis, croquet or social members are always welcome, and visitors can play up to three times a season on payment of the £6 visitor's fee.
The club has a tennis coach for all ages with a thriving and successful junior membership, regular events and social activities and a quaint club house - which can be hired for events - all within a beautiful designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
During the grass court season, club sessions are held on Saturday and Sunday afternoons (from about 2:00 pm until dusk) and on Wednesday evenings (from about 5:30 pm until dusk).
Ladies' tennis sessions also take place on Thursday mornings from 9:00 am.
On Saturdays and Sundays tea, cake and biscuits are served from about 4:00 pm for a donation.
For membership enquiries please contact Deirdre Pope at deirdre.pope@some.oxon.org or on 01752 698345. Or you may book a court as a visitor for £6 per person by contacting Deirdre as above.
Or visit the tennis club website for further details here.
